THE GRIZZLY BEAR COAT, v5

These are so fun! Well made, fit is great. Would 10/10 recommend.

My son looks and feels like a total baller in this coat!

I bought two of these jacket one for each of my boys. Not only were they a big hit at school the kids love them. They are so warm and very durable.

I was skeptical about purchasing one of these coats. Mainly because of the cost. I also wanted something that I could stay warm at a football game and also be unique jacket. I decided to splurge as a Christmas gift for myself. The real test was at a -15° windchill game in Chicago. And I can tell you it passed the test with flying colors. I wasn’t cold at all with the coat on. In fact, I was sweating. One of the few purchases recently that I am happy that I bought. Five stars.

I'm the media person for my local ski hill here in Alaska; I often wear fun outfits (animal onesies!) to help generate morale on the mountain. Putting on onesies over my gear is a pain, so I ordered the Grizzly Bear v4. I didn't think it could be warmer than my Cabela's parka or my biggest down puffer but here I am at 0°F and colder, with wind, and I'm sweating in my T-shirt in this coat – definitely warmest coat I own! I'm glad the arms zip off or spring would be un-BEAR-able. XD. I do think a big part of the warmth factor comes from the hood and high collar, preventing cold air from going down my neck because a strong wind WILL get through the fur but at that point I'm not skiing.

I thought the paws would more gimmicky than functional but I can still grip my ski poles while using them and I can actually operate my lens zoom with my left hand (I still have to fold back the right paw to shoot). My fingers get cold doing photography on the mountain all day but the paws make a huge difference in warming up my gloved hands between shoots.

I get a lot of compliments on my coat and parents with little kids seem to get a kick out of it, so that's a major bonus. Plus it's just FUN.

My only complaint would be that the fit is definitely for men. I'm a thin woman and at 5'6" I fit the XS (S was too big - arms too long). I don't have particularly wide hips but I feel like I have to clench my butt to get the zipper started, and then unzip it a bit from the bottom, so women with hips be warned. With all the cool details, bells and whistles, I imagine it's fairly cost prohibitive to have both mens and womens cuts but maybe some day.

I would recommend this to anyone looking for a high-quality snowboarding jacket with character!!! It will forever be my Chicago Bears Gameday attire :)

My Bear V5 Coat will become a family heirloom. It looks so real.
Whoever came up with the idea of adding creative extras must have really thought it through. There's the magnetized fabric fold over the zipper to hid the zipper so cool and useful you don't have to zip the coat to wear it just use the magnets and the coat is closed. Also there's ample inside pockets, a really nice lining, a hidden way to tighten or loosen the fit around the waist. This coat is very well done. Very happy.

My grandson LOVES his jacket - it is so warm and the talk of school! I would highly recommend purchasing one, he thinks he is a real bear - I also bought and adult Buffalo the my Son also loves !! Go Bills !

I could not be more happy with the grizzly coat, all the features are super versatile and fitting and open it to all seasons from winter to summer festivals to sporting events! I’m hooked

The coat is so much fun, I put a Santa hat on top, and wish everyone a Beary Christmas! We did a Christmas tree walk, and usually I get cold first, but I outlasted the others, warm and toasty. The mittens seemed to fit oddly to me, however, they are made for a skier. If you want to stand out, and be warm in frigid temperatures, don’t lay down on this coat.

Was able to walk out in 20*F with no shirt on underneath the coat and I was practically sweating! Was also able to lay in the snow without feeling a thing! This coat is worth every last penny it's so fun to wear outside and around the house, I'll never be cold ever again <3

Hunter has worn his coat from St. Louis to Switzerland. It is a hit everywhere we go. It is so well-made and warm. We would definitely buy more in the future.

I was concerned at first about whether this thing would look as good as the photos and be of good quality. My son's Canada Goose sadly has been retired for life :) It really is really well done and I have no doubt it will keep him warm as it is really heavy and well done. There is no shot he will not wear this every day this winter. We are very impressed and it is worth the price all day long.

I bought this coat originally to use for a Halloween costume…. But instead I have discovered my alter ego. The fun I have had and the happiness that I have brought people just from wearing this coat out and about has been a blast. Can’t wait to stay warm with the cold winter coming up. The material is top tier, love the magnets holding the coat in place, and the sizing fits perfectly. So excited that I may have to even take up snowboarding.

I bought this coat for my 8 year old son. We were trying to decide on a winter coat when we saw this one. The coat is well made, magnets help keep the paws out of the way, there’s magnets on the hood, and a bunch of hidden features. My son loved the coat right from the unboxing.

This was my first Wildcoat and I have already bought another. I can't say enough good stuff about these coats. The quality is amazing. I balked at the price at first. But when I got it, it's worth it. These are very sturdy, warm, and extremely well-built. Huge pickets everywhere. Very versatile with being able to remove different parts. Genius ides!

So cool! My husband and I both have one, I have the Bear and he the Bison. We wore to a DJ night in our ski town and had several people taking pictures with us! Quite warm too.
I’m 5’6”, 150 lbs and bought the small as my husband said they run big, should have bought the medium. Thinking of getting the Polar Bear next💕

These coats are pricey but you will be the warmest person around. In 40° weather, you will got hot in this coat. Wild Coat did an amazing job with the quality and updates in version 4.

Make sure you size up! I am 5’9” and 210 and could definitely use the XL. The large is fine for standing up, but it’s a little tight around the waist when sitting down.

Finally, be prepared to talk to strangers about how warm you are. The number one question I get asked is if I have the matching pants!
